Ash Wednesday at St. Mark

RICHMOND — Adults and St Mark School students participated in the 8:15 a.m. distribution of ashes on Ash Wednesday. Students who correctly answered questions about scripture and church tradition during the Ash Wednesday service were awarded with cans of tuna instead of the usual chocolates.

  • State champs get their rings at YMCA breakfast

    Two months may have passed, but Madison County continues to celebrate the state basketball championship won by the Madison Central boys team.
    Team members were presented championship rings while their cheerleaders received pendants Saturday morning during a breakfast at the Telford YMCA attended by nearly 300.
