Folk Mountain Gospel featured at several local churches

Folk Mountain Gospel, a band consisting of Don and Donna Mohl of Fair Grove, Miss., will be performing at several local churches.

Their unique style of music blends biblical and traditional instruments such as hammered dulcimer, bowed psaltery, zither, mountain dulcimer, mandolin, guitar and bass guitar with their voices to provide a “down-home” family-oriented message of Jesus’ love and grace. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy some folk mountain music and heart-warming stories designed to encourage and inspire. A love offering will be received and CDs, DVDs and hand-crafted, biblical musical instruments will be available for sale after the program.

Performances include: today (Oct. 24) at Seventh Day Adventists Church in Winchester at 11 a.m. and at Wisemantown United Methodist Church in Irvine at 6:30 p.m.; Sunday at White Oak Pond Christian Church at 10:30 a.m. and at Ravenna Christian Church at 6:30 p.m.
