Chick-fil-A benefit Tuesday for Naomi Hetrick

RICHMOND — On Tuesday, the Chick-fil-A restaurant in Richmond Centre will donate 10 percent of its sales to help defray the medical expenses for one of its employees, Naomi Hetrick, who was seriously injured Oct. 31 in an accident on Interstate 75.

Hetrick, 23, has been hospitalized at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington since the accident, according to her brother Jedidiah, also a Chick-fil-A employee.

“The cow invites you to ‘eat mor chikin’ on Tuesday to support one of our own,” said Heather Redick, the restaurant owner.

Hetrick, a student at Bluegrass Community and Technical College where she is pursing a degree in social work, was on her way to school when the accident occurred, her brother said.

Earlier this year, she spent three weeks in the African nation of Burundi on a mission trip with the Summer Institute of Linguistics, part of the Wycliffe Global Alliance.

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, for by grace ye are saved.
He hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus so that in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

  • Anthony-Phelps.jpg We are complete in Him, Who is one with the Father

If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
