Jannell Hurst, 65

RICHMOND —

Jannell Louise St. Germain Hurst, 65, of Richmond, passed away on November 25, 2012, in Central Baptist Hospital of Lexington.

Jannell was born on September 20, 1947 in Los Angeles, Calif.

She was a wonderful mother, incredible community servant, but above all, she was the voice of children. Jannell was a caring, generous person who spent her time helping others, especially children and those in need in Madison County.

Survivors include: one daughter, Rebecca Selby of Richmond; three sons, Kenneth Wayne Hurst Jr. (& Renee), Jeffrey Hurst (& Angela), and Michael Hurst (& Colleen), all of Richmond; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a special dog, Bo.

Funeral services for Jannell Hurst will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012, at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Jessamine County, Kentucky.
