RICHMOND —
Addison Nicholas “Nick” Cosby, 90, husband of Ruby Mae Cosby, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 in the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.
He was born on April 23, 1922 in Madison County to the late Addison T. and Kathrine Laura Eades Cosby. He was a farmer in Madison County and he attended the Red House Baptist Church and was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army Air Corp. He was also a big University of Kentucky Basketball Fan.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Mae Cosby of Richmond; two daughters, Sarah M. Cosby Noland (Bill) of Madison County, Joy Lee Cosby King (Bo) of Madison County; one son, Darrell Nicholas Cosby (Gretta) of Madison County; six grandchildren, Mike Cosby (Kathy), Kari Hall (Randy), Nick Noland, Tyler King (Marie), Evan King, Aaron King (Amelia); three great grandchildren, John Michael Cosby, Sydney Hall and Braden Hall; several nieces and nephews. Other than his parents he is also preceded in death by one daughter, Linda K. Cosby Reams; three brothers, Harry Cosby, D.T. Cosby and Billy Cosby; two sister, Gertrude Barkley and Ona Lee Tracy.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Red House Baptist Church in Richmond with Rev. Gary Maynard and Rev. Marsha Carpenter officiating the services. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at the church.
Pallbearers will be Mike Cosby, Kari Hall, Nick Noland, Tyler King, Evan King, Aaron King and John Michael Cosby. Honorary Pallbearers will be Live Embers, XYZ Choir and the Men’s Sunday School Class.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Compassion-ate Care Center at 350 Isaac Lane, Richmond, Kentucky 40475.

He was born April 25, 1926, in Madison County, Ky., the son of the late Cleveland Perkins Sr., and Lena Lowery Perkins.
Mr. Perkins was a member of the Fountain Park Church of God. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII and served as constable in the 8th district from 1957-1961. -

She was born on May 6, 1931, in Berea, Kentucky, and lovingly raised by her paternal grandparents, Ella and Harry Lamb. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Oswald Lamb who died when Betty was a child. -
