Beulah Mae Angel Phelps, age 81, wife of Ora Phelps, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012, in St. Joseph Berea hospital.
Mrs. Phelps was a retired secretary from the Madison County Detention Center. She also had worked in sales for WEKY and WKXO and run the Snow White Video Store. She was a charter member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Other than her husband, she is survived by: her daughters, Sandra (Lester) Powell, Wanda (Larry) Todd, both of Berea, Diana (Jarvis) Martin of Waco and Tammy Phelps of Berea; six grandchildren, Jeremy (Heather) Powell, Courtney (Jarad) Northern, Robbie (Candace) Todd, Kellie (Billy) Beavers, Chris (Andrea) Cochran and Brandi (Matthew) Shepherd; 11 great-grandchildren, Jared & Hannah Powell, Maci & Brennan Northern, Hadlee & Hudson Todd, Brooklyn Beavers, Cameron Cochran, Regan Douglas, Seth & Makayla Shepherd.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 9, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Kays officiating. Entombment will follow in the Berea Cemetery Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be: Jeremy Powell, Chris Cochran, Robbie Todd, Matthew Shepherd, Billy Beavers, Jarad Northern, Ron Devere and Dennis Grant.Honorary Pallbearers will be: Linda Ginter, Dee Dee Dunn, Janice Robinson, Kent Clark, Debbie Nicholson, Peggy Mink and Don Poynter.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Emmanuel Baptist Church from 5 until 8 p.m.
Contributions suggested to Hospice Care Plus or Emmanuel Baptist Church.
