Dorothy M. “Dot” Hall, 91 of Richmond, died Monday, July 23, 2012.
Mrs. Hall was born Feb. 9, 1921, in Viva, Ky., to the late Benjamin F. and Mattie R. Miller.
She attended a one-room schoolhouse in Viva, followed by attendance at Hazel Green School in East Bernstadt, Ky.; subsequently, moving to Richmond with her family in 1934. Dot was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, George Robert “G.R.” Hall.
Dot is survived by: sisters, Louise Fortney and Pari Lee Johnson; and brother, Gilbert Miller; all of Richmond. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Miller, and her sister, Addie Griffith.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2012, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Martin Frazier officiating.
Burial will follow in Richmond Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from noon until service time on Friday, July 27.
Pallbearers will be: Mike Miller, Dr. Jimmie Lee Johnson, Julian Griffith, Tom Klenke, J. P. Miller and Ben Masters.
Honorary bearers will be: Julie Moberly, Pat and Boots Hoskins, Bennie Martin, Virginia Gentry and Jane Land.

Cleveland “June” Perkins Jr., 87, husband of 63 years to Ima Jean Horn Perkins, died Monday, May 20, 2013.
He was born April 25, 1926, in Madison County, Ky., the son of the late Cleveland Perkins Sr., and Lena Lowery Perkins.
Mr. Perkins was a member of the Fountain Park Church of God. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII and served as constable in the 8th district from 1957-1961. -

Betty Jean Lamb Johnson, age 82, died May 18, 2013, after a long illness.
She was born on May 6, 1931, in Berea, Kentucky, and lovingly raised by her paternal grandparents, Ella and Harry Lamb. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Oswald Lamb who died when Betty was a child. -

Mrs. Lange was born in Winchester, Ky., on Sept. 18, 1939, to the late J.B. and Ruth Esther Black Hatton. -
