Edward Dwayne Burberry, 45

LEXINGTON — Edward Dwayne Burberry, 45, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012.

He was born Dec. 10, 1966, in Lexington, Ky., the son of Edward (Tonie) Burberry of Lexington and Betty Taylor of Berea, Ky.

He was a member of the original graduating class of Lexington Christian Academy. Mr. Burberry was the owner of Endeavor Systems Inc. and had previously been the director of information systems for Arch Communications,Inc., the country’s largest publicly traded paging service provider.

Survivors include: two sisters, Michelle Burberry-Walton and Alesha (Bobby) Begley, both of Berea, Ky.; a brother, Weslie Burberry, Richmond, Ky.; Melissa Clark, Mark Little and Levi Clark; five nieces; and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Polly Burberry.

A memorial service will be conducted 7:30 p.m. Monday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, by Dr. Virgil Grant. Visitation will be 6 p.m. Monday until service time.

    Cleveland “June” Perkins Jr., 87, husband of 63 years to Ima Jean Horn Perkins, died Monday, May 20, 2013.
    He was born April 25, 1926, in Madison County, Ky., the son of the late Cleveland Perkins Sr., and Lena Lowery Perkins.
    Mr. Perkins was a member of the Fountain Park Church of God. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII and served as constable in the 8th district from 1957-1961.

    She was born on May 6, 1931, in Berea, Kentucky, and lovingly raised by her paternal grandparents, Ella and Harry Lamb. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Oswald Lamb who died when Betty was a child.

    Mrs. Lange was born in Winchester, Ky., on Sept. 18, 1939, to the late J.B. and Ruth Esther Black Hatton.
