RICHMOND — Mable Rymell, 86

Richmond

Mable Wall Rymell, 86, wife of Jennings Rymell, Jr. passed away October 9, 2012, at Baptist Health in Richmond.    

Mrs. Rymell was born in Madison County on October 4, 1926, to John W. and Macie Eades Wall.

She loved children and provided child care, was a 4-H leader, “softball mom” and enjoyed visits with her beauty shop friends. She looked forward to her yearly trips to Treasure Island, Fla.

Survivors include: her husband of 63 years, Jennings Rymell Jr.; two daughters, Janet Bryan (Gary) of Richmond and Donna Winkler (Larry) of Kirksville; one grandson, Matthew Winkler; one sister, Beulah Gorman of Nicholasville; two step sisters, Bonnie Russell and Judith Martin, both of Richmond.

She was preceded in death by: one daughter, Vicki Rymell; two stepbrothers; Harvey Hackworth and Doug Hackworth; and two sisters, Ruby Owens and Gail Bogie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2012, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Simpson officiating.

Burial will follow in Richmond Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.    

Pallbearers will be Gary Bryan, Larry Winkler, Matthew Winkler, June Bogie,

Wayne Pope and Amber Wanzer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ashley Davis, Kara Burton, Bryan Bogie, Betty Sue Carter and Aaron Bryan.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Amber Wanzer and the caregiving family at Arcadian Cove for their loving care.
