Dellno Woosley, 77

RICHMOND — Dellno Woosley, 77, passed away March 4, 2013, in the Hospice Compassionate Care Center of Richmond.

Dellno was born December 30, 1935, in Estill County, Ky., to Russell and Flora Trimble Woosley, both of whom preceded him in death.

He was a retired toolmaker for Okonite Cable and attended Liberty Chapel Church. Dellno loved his grandchildren, fishing, and playing music.

Survivors include: his wife, Emma Horn Woosley; one son, Tim Woosley (Donna), of Richmond; one daughter, Karen Arbuckle, of Richmond; five grandchildren, Jennifer Basarich (Joe), of St. Jacob, Ill., Justin Woosley, of Richmond, Brittany Hornsby (Ashley), of Clarksville, Tenn., Ryan Arbuckle (Jessica), of Valparaiso, Ind., and Adam Arbuckle, of San Diego, Calif.; six great-grandchildren, Logan Teater, Annalei & Nolan Arbuckle, and Colton, Darren, & Ethan Hornsby; one brother, Walter Woosley (Barbara), of Waco; two sisters, Treva Prather (Raymond), of LaGrange, and Burna McClain (Tom), of Eminence; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dellno was preceded in death by two sisters, Sue Mills and Joann Hall.

Funeral services for Dellno Woosley will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Forrest Turpin officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jennifer Basarich, Justin Woosley, Brittany Hornsby, Ryan Arbuckle, Adam Arbuckle, Logan Teater, Joe Stanley and Danny Simpson.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at the funeral home.

    He was born April 12, 1926, in Rockcastle County to Charles and Pearl Day Thacker, both of whom preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine Hutchinson Thacker, and one daughter, Brenda Kay Dargavell.
