Richard C. Schwab, 56

Richard C. Schwab, 56, formerly of Richmond, Kentucky, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009, in Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio.

He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 10, 1953, the son of Ralph C. and Joan (Schiering) Schwab. He was a 1971 graduate of Badin High School, and a 1975 graduate of Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, earning a B. S. degree. Richard had worked for the city of Richmond, Kentucky.

Survivors include his son, Charles Schwab, of Tip City, Ohio; his mother, Joan Schwab of Fairfield, Ohio; a brother, Robert C. (Catherine) Schwab of Tip City, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Claire, Greg, Leighanne, and Maddy Schwab.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Schwab; grandparents, Ralph and Grace Schwab and Carl and Elizabeth Schiering.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Road Fairfield, Ohio 45014, with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant, followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Sacred Heart Church.
