Shelia Kay Short Johnson, 43, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2009.

She was born on Feb. 2, 1966, in Madison County, the daughter of Joyce Whittamore Short and the late James E. Short.

Survivors, in addition to her mother, include: two sons, Alvin Wayne Foster Jr. and Christopher James Foster; her companion, Dallas Harrison; two sisters, Vickie Francis (Dennis) and Deborah Cain (Danny); two nephews, Shannon Barger and Billy Cain; four nieces, Jamie Barger, Amanda Taulbee, Ella Cain and Shauna Short; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her brother, James “Jimmy” Short.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Collier officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Tuesday morning at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Marvin “Buddy” Whittamore, Frankie Smith, Billy Cain, Billy Whittamore, John Pardon and Rusty Whittamore.
