Thomas Coleman Clark, 70


Thomas Coleman Clark, 70, of Doylesville, the husband of Susan C. Clark, passed away early Friday morning in his home.

He was born January 24, 1935, in Madison County, the son of the late Coleman and Irene Whitaker Clark. He was a farmer, an avid hunter and fisherman and participated with the Richmond Farmers Market.

Survivors include: his wife, Susan Carrie Cheeks Clark; children, Thomas Coleman Clark Jr., Joseph Clark, Samantha Jo. Clark, Carrie Elizabeth Clark, Richard Jason Witt, Miranda Dale Witt Coon, Stacy Irene Clark Cain, Lisa Clark, Teresa Clark, Matthew Clark and Roseanne Clark; two sisters, Dorothy Clark Short and Elizabeth Clark Newby Chapple; several grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by: a son, Tommy Clark; and a brother, Charles Smith Clark.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Thomas Clark Family Cemetery at Doylesville, with the Rev. Alene Coon officiating.

Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Monday morning at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.
