Garry Lynn “Shorty” Freeman, 59, passed away October 26, 2009, in Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center.

He was born on July 5, 1950, in Madison County to the late Boyd and Lois Moore Freeman.

Mr. Freeman was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church at Dreyfus, was a self-employed auto body repairman and loved motorcycles.

He is survived by: his daughter, Shelia (Billy) Tipton; three brothers, Larry (Cindy) Freeman, Billy (Sandy) Freeman and Danny (Carolyn) Freeman; one sister, Colleen (Herbert) Rogers; two grandchildren, Brooke and Blair Robinson; 14 nieces and nephews; and 17 great-nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 29, 2009, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Dr. Neal Prather officiating. Burial will follow in Baker-Moore Cemetery in Bybee. Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Billy Tipton, Herbert Rogers III, Stephen Palmer, Shane Allen, Randy Turner and Fred Rogers. www.cpcfh.com
