RICHMOND —
Raymond Day, 87, of Richmond, passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, in St. Joseph East hospital, Lexington.
He was born Aug. 22, 1925, in Madison County, to James Samuel and Florence Ballard Day, both of whom preceded him in death.
He was a retired tool maker for IBM in Lexington and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of WWII. Mr. Day was a life member of the Marine Corps League, a member of the Lancaster Road Church of God and an avid University of Kentucky sports fan.
He is survived by: his loving wife, Ruby Rae Bowlin Day of Richmond; two sons, Raymond Michael Day (Ruth) of Burfordville, Mo., and David Allen Day (Mary) of Richmond; two daughters, Teresa Ann Brady (Don) of Berea and Connie Lee Glave (Ray) of Winchester; one brother, Louis Day of Nicholasville.
He also leaves: nine grandchildren, Shaun Day, Jesse Day, Don Brady, Sherry Boggs, Marshall Day, Michael Day, Megan Day, Scott Brady, and Jeff Brady; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several sisters and brothers, including Pearl Thacker, James Day and Jake Day.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Pastors Butch Payne and Greg Lakes officiating. Burial will follow in Richmond Cemetery with military honors by the Marine Corps League. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Cleveland “June” Perkins Jr., 87
Cleveland “June” Perkins Jr., 87, husband of 63 years to Ima Jean Horn Perkins, died Monday, May 20, 2013.
He was born April 25, 1926, in Madison County, Ky., the son of the late Cleveland Perkins Sr., and Lena Lowery Perkins.
Mr. Perkins was a member of the Fountain Park Church of God. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII and served as constable in the 8th district from 1957-1961. -

She was born on May 6, 1931, in Berea, Kentucky, and lovingly raised by her paternal grandparents, Ella and Harry Lamb. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Oswald Lamb who died when Betty was a child. -

He was born in New Haven, Conn., to the late Ernest Munro and Helen Rackiewicz Murray. -

Mary Arlene Hatton Lange, 73, formerly of Richmond, widow of John Stone Lange, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013, at the St. Joseph East hospital.
Mrs. Lange was born in Winchester, Ky., on Sept. 18, 1939, to the late J.B. and Ruth Esther Black Hatton. -

She was born on March 16, 1926 in Laurel County, the youngest of five children, born to the late William Albert and Nora Bowman Warren. -

Mildred C. Martin Rieker, 91, of Richmond, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 in Telford Terrace Nursing Home of Richmond.
She was the mother of William K. Rieker (Cindy) of Lexington.
