Richmond

Geneva Cain Reece, 84, the wife of Riley C. Reece, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday morning, September 26, 2012, surrounded by her loving and caring family.

Geneva was born on October 9, 1927, in Estill County, the daughter of the late John Curtis and Sarah Jane Issac Cain. She loved flowers, gardening and being outdoors. She was a loving mother and grandmother and had great love and respect for her husband. She was a member of the Irvine View Holiness Church.

Survivors include her husband: Riley Charles Reece; three sons, Kenneth Wayne Smith (Joyce), Charles Curtis Reece (Karen) and Randall Stuart Reece (Virginia); one daughter, Rebecca Ruth Allen (Donald); one brother, Dennis Cain (Sheila); one sister, Nancy Willis; nine grandchildren, Damon Smith, Christian Gosser, Jason Smith, Shane Reece, Chad Reece, Adam Oliver, Joseph Oliver, Joshua Reece and Zachery Reece, 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one infant son, Phillip Marion Reece; two brothers, Raymond Edwin Cain and Louis Claude Cain and one sister, Reva Denny.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, September 29, 2012, at the Irvine View Holiness Church, 314 Irvine View Street, Richmond, Ky., with Bro. Charley Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at the Flatwoods Cemetery in Waco.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Florine Isaacs, Mary Carpenter, Brenda Turpin, Theresa Burdette, Mike Pearson, Jim Dause, Jasper Pearson, Dan Wells, Garnett Parke and Tim Abner.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Arthur Yin, for the friendship and kind, loving care extended to Mrs. Reece during her illness.
