Berneda Fields Price, 92

BEREA — Berneda Fields Price, age 92, of Berea, died Friday, March 1, 2013, in the Compassionate Care Center of Richmond.

She was born in Letcher County to the late R.B. and Martha Mae Stamper Fields. She was the widow of Harold O. Price.

Mrs. Price was a member of the Berea United Methodist Church. She was a teacher and had taught in Texas, Tennessee, Europe, Louisville and Berea.

She is survived by: her daughter, Martha Ann Price Davidson (Stewart) of Richmond; her grandsons, James Stewart Davidson and Robert Price Davidson (Joette), both of San Diego, California; her grandchildren, Morgan Davidson, Robert Dylan Davidson and Mei Lani Marie Davidson; her great-grandchild, Mila Davidson; her sisters, Callie F. Greene and Sarah Bond of Richmond, and Mary Jane Sparrow of Danville; her brothers, Jim Fields (Sheila) and Bruce Fields of Berea.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kelly and Leroy Fields.

Funeral services for Mrs. Price will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Rowan officiating. Burial will be in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
