RICHMOND —
Julia Marie “Connie” Fields, 84, of Richmond, the wife of Martin John Fields, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, in Baptist Health-Lexington.
She was born April 22, 1928, in Tokyo, Japan. Connie was a retired seamstress and was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Richmond.
In addition to her husband, Martin, she is survived by: one daughter, Patricia Ann Lee (F. Scott) of Richmond; one son, Martin John Fields III (Louise) of Lexington; one sister-in-law, Anna Marie Pisa; her grandchildren, James Martin Lee, Robert Everett Lee, Brian Scott Lee, Courtney Brooke Fields and Trevor Martin Fields; and two great-grandsons, Lucas Scott Lee and Nathaniel Edward Lee.
In addition to her father, Yonzo Kaneko, she was preceded in death by two children, Anna Marie Fields and Daniel J. Fields.
The funeral Mass for Mrs. Fields will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at St. Mark Catholic Church, with Fr. Jim Sichko officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Jessamine County.
Pallbearers will be Martin John Fields III, James Martin Lee, Robert Everett Lee, Brian Scott Lee, Trevor Martin Fields and F. Scott Lee.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.
