Rhonda S. Powell, 49, of Bowman Road, Berea, passed away peacefully in her home Wednesday, Feb.13, 2013. She is survived by her loving husband, Robbie Powell, one son, her mother and a half-sister.
Her funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Lakes Funeral Home, Berea, with a Hospice Chaplain officiating. Burial will follow in the Logston Lane Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of service Friday.

Mabel Warren Combs, 87, the widow of Robert S. “Bob” Combs, passed away Friday morning, May 17, 2013 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
She was born on March 16, 1926 in Laurel County, the youngest of five children, born to the late William Albert and Nora Bowman Warren. -

She was the mother of William K. Rieker (Cindy) of Lexington.
A memorial service will be conducted at a date to be announced at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.

Russell Edward Thacker, 87, of Richmond passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013, in the Hospice Compassionate Care Center of Richmond.
He was born April 12, 1926, in Rockcastle County to Charles and Pearl Day Thacker, both of whom preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine Hutchinson Thacker, and one daughter, Brenda Kay Dargavell. -
