Ralph E. Stephens, age 85, husband of Rose Marie Stephens, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.
Ralph was born in Franklin, Ohio, to the late Price and Laura Mae Carrier Stephens. He was a member of the Nazarene Church, retired from Commercial Metal in Dayton, Ohio, and a US Army veteran of WWII.
Ralph was preceded in death by: his parents; the mother of his children, Ruth Smith Stephens; and his daughters, Nikki Lynn Stephens and Julie Mae Stephens; and one brother and one sister.
Ralph is survived by: his wife, Rose Marie Taylor Stephens of Berea; his sons, Richard (Candace) Stephens of Dayton, and Bradley (Amaya) Stephens of Yellow Springs, Ohio; his grandchildren, Hollie Stephens, Ryan Stephens, Rachel Stephens, Benjamin Stephens and Joe Stephens; and a great-granddaughter, Kierra Stephens.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Livingood and Chaplain James Baldwin officiating. Pallbearers will be Ben Stephens, Brian Stephens, Joe Stephens, David Tapley, Arliss Huff, Alan Cashin and David Hall.
Entombment will be at Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home. Online register book at www.lakesfuneralhome.com.
