RICHMOND — Marie Louise Hendricks Jackson, 87, of Richmond, widow of O.P. Jackson Jr., died on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, in St. Joseph Hospital – East in Lexington, Ky.

Jackson, daughter of the late A. T. “Tiff” and Katie Mae Gayheart Hendricks, was born in Madison County on Jan. 14, 1924. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by: four daughters, Nancy Putteet (Bill), of Richmond; Betty Louise Howard, of Richmond; Delia Sadler (Coleman) of Richmond; and Cindy Jackson Long, of Richmond; three brothers, Paul Hendrix (Lorranie), Melvin Hendricks (Edna) and Dudley “Boots” Hendricks (Vada); three sisters, Billie Keene (Martin), Bonnie Spicer and Nancy Tevis (Shelby); 22 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by: her son, Joseph Perry Jackson; three brothers, G. D. Sebastian, Anson Hendricks and Harold Hendricks; her great-granddaughter, Jenni Rebecca Ward; and son-in-law, Nolan Howard.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Masters, the Rev. Allene Coon, Bryce Howard and Bro. Marty Frazier officiating. The burial will follow at the Richmond Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
