RICHMOND —

Phillip Shannon Slone, 43, of Richmond, passed away Thursday, November

22, 2012, in the Baptist Health hospital of Richmond.

He was born on November 28, 1968, in Clay County, to the late Johnnie and

Glacia Morrow Slone.

Survivors include three daughters: Amanda Jo Young, Tasha Reece and Jennifer

Renee Slone; two brothers: Nelson Slone and Johnny Slone; six sisters:

Patricia Pitts (James), Linda Collins, Dessie Barnes, Kathy Bryant, Sue Dick and Judy Poynter (Harvey).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Dilent

Moore and Essie Norman.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at the

Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Geral Richardson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Slone Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Cleveland “June” Perkins Jr., 87, husband of 63 years to Ima Jean Horn Perkins, died Monday, May 20, 2013.
He was born April 25, 1926, in Madison County, Ky., the son of the late Cleveland Perkins Sr., and Lena Lowery Perkins.
Mr. Perkins was a member of the Fountain Park Church of God. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII and served as constable in the 8th district from 1957-1961.

She was born on May 6, 1931, in Berea, Kentucky, and lovingly raised by her paternal grandparents, Ella and Harry Lamb. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Oswald Lamb who died when Betty was a child.

Mrs. Lange was born in Winchester, Ky., on Sept. 18, 1939, to the late J.B. and Ruth Esther Black Hatton.
