RICHMOND —

Donovan Lee Lowery, 36, passed away on Feb. 4, 2013, in Baptist Health- Richmond. He was the husband of Kathryn Fry Lowery.

Donovan was born on April 7, 1976, in Detroit, Mich., and was the son of Connie Lee Lowery and Carolyn Delia Thomas Lowery. He was a cab driver for the O.K. Cab Company.

In addition to his wife and parents, survivors include: two sons, Connard Dennis Lowery and Jessi Lee Patrick Lowery; three daughters, Hailey Madison Fry, Riley Ashley Cheyenne Lowery, and Kasidy Jean Damrel; two brothers, Jerry Wayne Lowery and Roy Dale Lowery; one sister, Calisa Lynn Murphy; and paternal grandparents, Lester and Naomi Short Lowery.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William Rufus Thomas and Lois Marie Miles Thomas.

Services for Donovan Lee Lowery will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

He was born April 12, 1926, in Rockcastle County to Charles and Pearl Day Thacker, both of whom preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine Hutchinson Thacker, and one daughter, Brenda Kay Dargavell.
