RUSSELL SPRINGS —
Walter “Tickie” Coomer, 81, of Paint Lick, formerly of the Jabez community, a veteran of the U.S. Army, died Wednesday in his home.
He is survived by: two daughters, Margaret Williams (Mike) of Berea and Robin Neikirk (Rick) of Marrowbone, Ky.; three sisters, Pauline Hopper and Helen Walters, both of Somerset, and Shirley Burton of Indiana; two brothers, Paul Coomer, Berea, and Tommy Coomer, Versailles; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Central Time on Saturday at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel in Russell Springs, Ky., with burial in the Stacy Cemetery of Jabez.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
