Nancy Adele Evans Ross, 95, of Berea, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, in the Compassionate Care Center of Richmond.
She was a native of Morristown, Tenn., the daughter of the late Hawthorne Clough and Lily Myers Evans. Mrs. Ross was the widow of Charles L. Ross.
She was a retired special education teacher at Berea Community School, a member of the Richmond’s First Presbyterian Church and the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association. Mrs. Ross was an accomplished musician, playing the piano and cello. She loved to swim, flower garden, watch game shows and Days of Our Lives on television and swing in her swing. She, along with her late husband, enjoyed square dancing and her favorite song was “Wishing Will Make It So.” She was an avid EKU and UK basketball and football fan.
Mrs. Ross is survived by: her sons, Dr. James K. Ross (Darlene Young) of Salt Lick, Charles E. (Donna) Ross of Berea; her grandchildren, Felicia Ross Myers of the Virgin Islands, Justin W. Ross of Lexington and Diana M. Ross of Madison, Tenn., SPC Delia F. Ross, United States Army, Mobile, Ala., Courtney Ross Samford of Lexington, Taylor Ross of Birmingham, Ala., and Jennifer J. Ross of New Smyrna Beach, Fla. Four great grandchildren, Isabella, Ivana, Emma and Elijah also survive.

Mr. Perkins was a member of the Fountain Park Church of God. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII and served as constable in the 8th district from 1957-1961. -

She was born on May 6, 1931, in Berea, Kentucky, and lovingly raised by her paternal grandparents, Ella and Harry Lamb. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Oswald Lamb who died when Betty was a child. -

Mrs. Lange was born in Winchester, Ky., on Sept. 18, 1939, to the late J.B. and Ruth Esther Black Hatton. -
