RICHMOND —
Margie Teater Canfield, 80, the widow of Maurice M. Canfield, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012, at her home.
Mrs. Canfield was born on February 8, 1932, in Garrard County, the daughter of the late Kyle and Betty Woford Teater. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She along with her family owned and operated the Canfield Motor Company in Richmond.
Survivors include: a nephew, Chris Canfield (Charissa); two nieces, Jenny Winburn Giles (Bob) and Diana Jones (Jay); great-nieces and nephews Catherine Canfield, Jodie Hall (Scott), Morgan Giles, Shannan Anthony, Sean Jones; great-great-nephew Tristin Anthony; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Helen Winburn and Edwina Canfield.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2012, in the Richmond Cemetery.
Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., is in charge of the arrangements.

She was born on March 16, 1926 in Laurel County, the youngest of five children, born to the late William Albert and Nora Bowman Warren. -

Mildred C. Martin Rieker, 91, of Richmond, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 in Telford Terrace Nursing Home of Richmond.
She was the mother of William K. Rieker (Cindy) of Lexington.

He was born April 12, 1926, in Rockcastle County to Charles and Pearl Day Thacker, both of whom preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine Hutchinson Thacker, and one daughter, Brenda Kay Dargavell. -
