RICHMOND —
Mary Elizabeth Stagner Kelly, 87, formerly of Bennett Court, Richmond, passed from this life on Sunday evening, December 16, 2012.
Mrs. Kelly was born on December 5, 1925, in Madison County, the daughter of the late Herbert and Catherine Reeves Stagner. She retired after thirty years of service, as the Accounts Payable Department Manager for the former Begley Drug Company. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Christian Church and the Society of Boonesboro. She was a gentle, loving, Christian woman who was cherished.
In addition to her parents: she was preceded in death by her husband: Ben E. Kelly, a son: Donnie Hendren, and a brother: James Lewis Stagner.
She was loved and will be missed by her daughter and son-in-law: Libby Sue and John Hassan; her grandchildren: Susan and Tim Bronsil and their sons, Will and Jack of Cincinnati; Ashley and Kevin Lippert and their son, Luke; Erin and Chris Hill of Lexington and Brad and Sara Hendren and their daughters, Ava and Camille of Napierville, Ill.
She was also loved by her special children: Joyce and Mil Jones and their family including: Jason and Angie Jones, Melody and Kayley, Ben and Michelle Jones and Luke Jones of Texas; Ralph and Angi Kelly and their children; Austin Kelly of Paris and Iris and Jesse Owen of Montana; and Janet and Jerry Murphy of Richmond.
Funeral Service 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Mt. Zion Christian Church with Rev. Randy Osborne and Rev. Maria Oliver officiating.
Burial will follow at Madison Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be grandsons: Brad Hendren, Jason Jones, Ben Jones, Luke Jones, Austin Kelly, Tim Bronsil, Kevin Lippert, Chris Hill and Jesse Owen.

Cleveland “June” Perkins Jr., 87, husband of 63 years to Ima Jean Horn Perkins, died Monday, May 20, 2013.
He was born April 25, 1926, in Madison County, Ky., the son of the late Cleveland Perkins Sr., and Lena Lowery Perkins.
Mr. Perkins was a member of the Fountain Park Church of God. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII and served as constable in the 8th district from 1957-1961. -

She was born on May 6, 1931, in Berea, Kentucky, and lovingly raised by her paternal grandparents, Ella and Harry Lamb. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Oswald Lamb who died when Betty was a child. -
