RICHMOND —
Our sweet Robin after a battle with cancer went on to heaven on November 13, 2012. She passed peacefully with the loves of her life by her side in Tucson, Ariz..
Born in Berea, Ky., February 1, 1965, she grew up in Richmond, KY and graduated from Madison Central High School. She went on to obtain a CNA certification and worked for Catalina Home Health. She never considered her work as a job, but a fulfillment of a calling that gave her joy to provide care and compassion to her hospice patients.
Robin enjoyed reading, music, spending time with her husband, children, grandson. Her comfort during her journey was her relationship with Christ Jesus. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.
She is survived by her loving husband James (Jim) Blain, son Nicholas Blain (Marana, Ariz.), daughter Ashley Daniel and grandson Keven Berry (Tucson, Ariz. ). She is also survived by her parents Paul K. Daniel (Donna), Fishers, Ind., and Ila M. Isaacs, Richmond, Ky.; siblings Paula Smith (Paul), Indianapolis, Ind., Billy Daniel (Janice), Regena Breedlove (John), Louise (John) Ball all of Richmond, Ky. and sister-in-law Linda Daniels, Kankanee, Ill.. Her nieces Christina, Misty and Meghan and nephews Brad and Tyler loved spending time with her.

Family and friends will celebrate Robin's life on Friday, November 23, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Victory World Outreach Center, 2233 U.S. 25, Richmond, Ky. Officiant: Pastor Phillip Holman.
Interment will be at Salyor Cemetery in Pathfork, Ky. on Saturday, November, 24,2012.

He was born April 12, 1926, in Rockcastle County to Charles and Pearl Day Thacker, both of whom preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine Hutchinson Thacker, and one daughter, Brenda Kay Dargavell. -
