Arthur Lee Parido, 67

Winchester

WINCHESTER — Arthur Lee Parido, 67, of Winchester, husband of Sandra “Sandy” Sutton Parido, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, in the Hospice Care Center of Lexington.

Mr. Parido was born in Clark County on Nov. 11, 1945, to the late Ernest and Chestina Johnson Parido.

He was a retired lawn service owner and a member of the Trinity Church of God.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by: five children, Mark Parido (Heather) of Winchester, Rebecca Parks (Gary) of Richmond, and Dina Crowe (Robert), Andrea Wasson (Carl), and Robert Ralston all of Winchester; 12 grandchildren, Heather Ivanis, Brent Colwell, Alicia Parido, Ryan Wasson, Andy Wasson, Matthew Wasson, Brad Crowe, Dustin Parks, Chastity Sowder, Jon Parks, Sean Parks and Bettina Thomas; seven great-grandchildren, Bekah Parks, Briley Ivanis, Kennedy Parks, Alexis Parks, Anthony Parks, Kody Calitri and Chris Arnold; five brothers, Shirley Parido (Sandra), Paul Parido (Judy), Larry Parido (Phyllis), Ray Parido (Joyce), and Donnie Parido (Carolyn); and three sisters, Joyce Meritt (Roger), Carolyn Tolsen (Frank), and Patsy Fraley (Eddie).

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 31, at the Trinity Church of God by Rev. Billy Keller. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shirley Parido, Paul Parido, Larry Parido, Ray Parido, Mark Parido, Gary Parks, Frank Tolsen and David Fraley. Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Wasson, Robert Crowe and Donnie Parido.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30, at the Trinity Church of God.

Memorial contributions suggested to Hospice East.

    Cleveland “June” Perkins Jr., 87, husband of 63 years to Ima Jean Horn Perkins, died Monday, May 20, 2013.
    He was born April 25, 1926, in Madison County, Ky., the son of the late Cleveland Perkins Sr., and Lena Lowery Perkins.
    Mr. Perkins was a member of the Fountain Park Church of God. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII and served as constable in the 8th district from 1957-1961.

    She was born on May 6, 1931, in Berea, Kentucky, and lovingly raised by her paternal grandparents, Ella and Harry Lamb. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Oswald Lamb who died when Betty was a child.

    Mrs. Lange was born in Winchester, Ky., on Sept. 18, 1939, to the late J.B. and Ruth Esther Black Hatton.
