DALLAS —
JoAnn Hagan Wolslegel passed away on Jan. 7, 2013, at 85 years of age. She was born May 1, 1927, in Lancaster to Marion and Adda Jo Wagers Hagan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years, Robert Wolslegel and a beloved daughter Diane Wolslegel Strother.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Wolslegel Schussler and husband, Randy; grandchildren, Trent, Alexandra and Grant Schussler of Plano, Texas; granddaughter Hailey Strother, Little Rock, Ark.; brother, William C. Hagan; nieces, Ann Hagan Clark and Susan Hagan McClellan, as well as cousins, Eleanor McCord McKinney, Coy Hagan Burnam, Lynn Hagan Ward and M.C. “Ced” Hagan of Richmond as well as a larger extended family and many friends both in the Dallas area and Central Kentucky.
She and her husband were dedicated members of East Dallas Christian Church for over 50 years and were members of the Fellowship class. JoAnn was a member of Disciple Women and the Azilean Study group. She attended Eastern Kentucky University.
After moving to Dallas, she made her career at Hunt Oil Company, where she retired in 1992.
A memorial service at East Dallas Christian Church was conducted on Jan. 11 to celebrate her life.
