RICHMOND —
Allen Hisle (Delroy) passed away on January 12, 2013.
He was born March 26, 1932 in Waco Ky., son of James and Laura (Adams) Hisle.
His family long preceded him in death. He is survived by: his wife, Shirley (Isaacs) Hisle; son Barry Hisle and his wife Lynn Hisle; granddaughters Kenna (Hisle) Calhoun and Kalin (Hisle) George and several nieces and nephews.
Delroy cherished time spent with his granddaughters while watching them reach young adulthood. He relished the gift of life, seeking its best value, completing many educations studies in nearly 30 years of retirement from IBM. Delroy was a veteran of the Korean War. He was quite pleased with having worked two years for Mason Hanger Engineering of New York City, a Gideon member for 25 years and a Sunday school teacher for 25 years. He enjoyed writing about three hours a day, producing over 25,000 pages of hand-written script.
Delory’s wish is that everyone's courage, hope, strength and good cheer always be equal to their needs as they continue on.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Fulton and Arnold Ingram officiating.
Burial will follow in Madison County Memorial Gardens.Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

He was born April 25, 1926, in Madison County, Ky., the son of the late Cleveland Perkins Sr., and Lena Lowery Perkins.
Mr. Perkins was a member of the Fountain Park Church of God. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII and served as constable in the 8th district from 1957-1961. -

She was born on May 6, 1931, in Berea, Kentucky, and lovingly raised by her paternal grandparents, Ella and Harry Lamb. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Oswald Lamb who died when Betty was a child. -
