RICHMOND —
Larry Glenmore Freeman, 65, of Berea, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday at the Baptist Health hospital in Richmond.
Mr. Freeman was born in Madison County on March 14, 1947, to the late Boyd and Lois Moore Freeman. He was the former owner of Larry’s Used Cars. He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, where he loved attending and participating in church activities.
Larry is survived by: his loving wife of 36 years, Cindy Chapman Freeman; his son, Larry David Freeman (Marlo) of Waco; his two daughters, Lisa Northern (Darren) and Christie Allen (Shane), both of Richmond; 10 cherished grandbabies, Cindy Northern, Larra Freeman, Brandon Northern, Glenn Freeman, Breonna Allen, Brooklyn Allen, Tatyana Allen, Aaron Allen, McKenzie Allen and Aaden Allen; two brothers, Danny Freeman (Carolyn) and Billy Freeman (Sandy); one sister, Colleen Rogers (Herbert); his puppy, Sammy; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Garry Freeman.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 2101 Dreyfus Road, with Bro. Mark McGuire and Dr. Neal Prather officiating. Burial will follow in the Baker Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Pallbearers will be: Herbert “JJ” Rogers, Curt Chapman, Craig Chapman, Paul Alexander, Lewis Reynolds and Lerman Willis.

Cleveland “June” Perkins Jr., 87, husband of 63 years to Ima Jean Horn Perkins, died Monday, May 20, 2013.
He was born April 25, 1926, in Madison County, Ky., the son of the late Cleveland Perkins Sr., and Lena Lowery Perkins.
Mr. Perkins was a member of the Fountain Park Church of God. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII and served as constable in the 8th district from 1957-1961. -

She was born on May 6, 1931, in Berea, Kentucky, and lovingly raised by her paternal grandparents, Ella and Harry Lamb. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Oswald Lamb who died when Betty was a child. -

Mrs. Lange was born in Winchester, Ky., on Sept. 18, 1939, to the late J.B. and Ruth Esther Black Hatton. -

She was the mother of William K. Rieker (Cindy) of Lexington.
