Viola Miller, 54

WINCHESTER — Viola W. Miller, daughter of the late Jave and Ivory Warren, was married to the Late Raymond W. Miller for 54 years, until his death.

She also was preceded in death by one son, Raymond W. Miller Jr.; three sisters, Dorothy Evans, Mildred Newell and Sarah E. Kavanaugh.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory three daughters, Ivory L. (Michael) Warford, Clarksville, Tenn., Mildred D. Chenault and Sarah E. (Rhodric Sinclair) Johnson; eight grand children, three step-grandchildren, 13 great-grand children; and one great-great-grandchild. She also leaves one brother, William J. (Kathleea) Warren; two sisters, Daisy (Charles) Clemmons, Dayton, Ohio, Dorothy Lynn McLemore, Columbia, S.C.; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth (Frank) Chenault and Annie D. Miller, both of Richmond; one brother-in-law, Kenard Bosley, Richmond. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives, friends and a dear devoted friend, Cassandra Harrell.

The funeral will be on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 302 Francis St. The visitation will be Friday, June 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, 305 Elm St., Richmond.

    He was born April 25, 1926, in Madison County, Ky., the son of the late Cleveland Perkins Sr., and Lena Lowery Perkins.
    Mr. Perkins was a member of the Fountain Park Church of God. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII and served as constable in the 8th district from 1957-1961.

    She was born on May 6, 1931, in Berea, Kentucky, and lovingly raised by her paternal grandparents, Ella and Harry Lamb. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Oswald Lamb who died when Betty was a child.

    Mrs. Lange was born in Winchester, Ky., on Sept. 18, 1939, to the late J.B. and Ruth Esther Black Hatton.
