Marion E. “Toe” Gadd, age 72, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 at his residence.
He was born on October 20, 1940, in Berea, to the late Marion and Dorothy McQueen Gadd.
He retired from Chrysler Airtemp in Dayton, Ohio, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 482 in Farmersville, Ohio. Mr. Gadd also enjoyed four-wheeling with his special friend and dog, Katy.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Brenda Lockhart Gadd, whom he married on June 4, 1988, in Berea, Ky.; a son, Steve (and Bea) Gadd of Gahanna, Ohio; a daughter, Tammy (and Dave) Armentrout of Enon, Ohio; one stepson, Kevin (and Tracy) Hutchison of Huber Heights, Ohio; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Bert and Carl Gadd of Berea, Kenny Gadd of Richmond, and Bob (and Belinda) Gadd of Irvine; six sisters, Tish (and Bill) Robbins, Brenda (and Jimmy) Reed, and Donna Gadd, all of Berea, Rene (and Lowell) Thomas of Richmond, Freda (and Ed) Thomas of Richmond, and Faye Lainhart of Berea; a beloved brother-in-law, Jim (and Sue) Lockhart of Dayton, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Dorothy McQueen Gadd.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 8, 2012, after 5 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset, Ky. Masonic rites will be conducted by the Sievers Masonic Lodge No. 491 of Nancy, Ky., at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday, November 9, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Lakes Funeral Home in Berea, Ky., with Brother James Floyd officiating. Burial will be in Berea Cemetery.
The family request expressions of sympathy be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and/or American Cancer Society.
Lake Cumberland Funeral Home is entrusted with all arrangements for Marion E. “Toe” Gadd.

Cleveland “June” Perkins Jr., 87, husband of 63 years to Ima Jean Horn Perkins, died Monday, May 20, 2013.
He was born April 25, 1926, in Madison County, Ky., the son of the late Cleveland Perkins Sr., and Lena Lowery Perkins.
Mr. Perkins was a member of the Fountain Park Church of God. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII and served as constable in the 8th district from 1957-1961. -

She was born on May 6, 1931, in Berea, Kentucky, and lovingly raised by her paternal grandparents, Ella and Harry Lamb. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Oswald Lamb who died when Betty was a child. -

Mrs. Lange was born in Winchester, Ky., on Sept. 18, 1939, to the late J.B. and Ruth Esther Black Hatton. -

She was born on March 16, 1926 in Laurel County, the youngest of five children, born to the late William Albert and Nora Bowman Warren. -

She was the mother of William K. Rieker (Cindy) of Lexington.
