RICHMOND — Vicky Lynn Washburn Roark, age 65, of Liberty, Indiana, died February 14, 2010, at the McCullough-Hyde Hospital in Oxford, Ohio, following a brief illness. She was a graduate of Miami University with a degree in computer science, and retired form the University in 2006. She was an active member of Hopedale Universal Unitarian Church of Oxford and TOPS. A native of Berea, Kentucky, she graduated from Berea High School in 1962. Vicky was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Rominger Washburn Davis, her father Ben Washburn, her son Chuck Roark, and his father, Charles Arthur Roark. She is survived by her son, John (Amy) Roark; grandchildren, Shallyn, J. C. and Shawnee Roark all of Liberty, Indiana; sister Mina S. Davis of Berea. Her life will be celebrated in Berea on March 20, at 11:30 a.m. at the Berea Cemetery with Rev. Gary Rowan officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to the USO or the American Diabetes Association.
