Hensley finishes fifth

RICHMOND — Several local golfers turned in solid performances Wednesday at the Pepsi Junior Golf Tour Event at Lakeside Golf Course in Lexington.

In the boys 13-14 year-old division, Richmond’s Dylan Hensley shot a 39 and finished tied for fifth place. He was six shots behind the winner, Tyler McDaniel of Manchester.

Nicholas Kubala, also of Richmond, finished 14th in the same division.

Walter Smith, of Paint Lick, shot a 38 and finished tied for seventh in the boys six-hole division.

In the boys 11-12 year-old division, Kyle Hensley finished ninth after shooting a 52.
