The Clark-Moores and Madison Middle football teams took to the field Thursday night at Madison Central looking to claim district tournament titles.
Both teams took on Rockcastle County.
Clark-Moores was victorious in the seventh-grade, picking up a 16-6 win. In the eighth-grade game, Rockcastle County defeated Madison Middle, 24-14.
In the seventh-grade game, Rockcastle County took a 6-0 lead in the third quarter. The Braves pulled even with 1:24 left in the third quarter when Isaiah Minter caught a 45-yard touchdown pass.
Clark-Moores took the lead on the two-point conversion when Dillon Wheatley hit Minter on a pass.
Hunter Pergrem caught a 9-yard TD in the fourth quarter and a two-point conversion catch by Minter put Clark-Moores up by 10 points.
Rockcastle County also jumped in front in the eighth-grade game.
Madison Middle tied the game at 8-8 in the first half on a 4-yard run by Zaelin Crutcher and a two-point conversion catch by Tristan Moorehead.
Rockcastle County took a 24-8 lead before Crutcher threw a 50-yard TD pass Jaylin Powell in the fourth quarter.
