GIRLS GOLF: Central rolls past Berea

BEREA — The Madison Central girls golf team continued its strong early-season play Monday at the Berea County Club.

Led by Tristyn Nowlin and Mackenzie Neal, the Lady Indians shot a team score of 195 and beat Berea Community by 50 strokes.

The victory was the third-straight for Central. Last week, the Lady Indians defeated Clark County and Mercer County in separate matches.

Nowlin had one birdie and posted a score of 38. Neal shot a 43, Mattie Jo Neeley finished with a 55, Paige Stamper shot a 59 and Emily Ridings finished with a 61

Chase Fain, Mallory Lakes, Kayla DeBorde, Cherish Simpson and Kerri Adkins competed for Berea.

The Lady Indians will tke on Jackson Co. at 5 p.m. today at The Bull.
