Senior All-American Mikah Turner provided the offense spark that carried Berea College to a win on the road Monday over Warren Wilson (3-4).
The guard scored a game-high 32 points and had seven rebounds as the Mountaineers rolled to a 94-69 win in Asheville, N.C.
Three other players reached double figures in scoring as Berea improved its record to 5-2 on the season with a second-straight win.
Rodney Goodson had 16 points and nine rebounds, Alex Hinton had 11 points and Prince Stewart had 10 points. Kevin Burrus added nine points and five rebounds.
Berea shot 53 percent from the field in the first half, but led just 44-37 at the half. The Mountaineers quickly expanded that lead in the second half.
Led by Turner, Berea put together a 12-4 run, then used a 22-7 spurt to push the lead to 27 points. Turner had six points during the Mountaineers’ biggest run, while Wofford had four points and Goodson and Stewart each had five points.
Berea outrebounded 48-46, but committed just 10 turnovers and shot 33 percent from three-point range.
Turner was 12-of-24 from the field, including 4-of-10 from three-point range. Goodson was six-of-nine from the field, while Hinton was five-of-seven.
Berea is set to return to action Friday at Union College.
