RICHMOND —
The Madison Southern and Clark-Moores Middle Archery Teams hosted a tournament last weekend at Madison Southern High School.
Teams from Kirksville Elementary, Piner Elementary (Morning View), Glenn Marshall Elementary, Kentucky Christian Academy (Campbellsville), Rockcastle Middle, Caudill Middle, Foley Middle, Clark-Moores Middle, Madison Southern High, Madison Central High, Rockcastle County High and Anderson County High participated in the shoot. In addition, individual shooters from Shannon Johnson Elementary and White Hall Elementary also competed.
Awards were given for the top three teams in the high, middle and elementary school divisions, as well as for the top three individual finishers.

Elementary Team
1st — Glenn Marshall - Black team
2nd — Kirksville
3rd — Kentucky Christian Academy
Farristown Middle School’s 6th grade team took first place.

In individual competition, the following archers earned the top three spots in the male and female divisions:

2nd — Ryan Wilkins (Male) Caudill; Katie McHargue (Female) Foley
3rd — Dalton McIntosh (Male) Farristown; Christa Murphy (Female) Caudill
Middle School
1st — Seth Stagner (Male) Caudill; Shana Webb (Female) Farristown
2nd — Nathan Carroll (Male) Caudill; Nikki Hensley (Female) of Farristown

Many of the teams competing this weekend qualified for the National Archery in the Schools (NASP) State Tournament, which got under away Monday in Louisville.
