The Lady Colonels (5-4) will be looking for their first road win of the season when they take on the University of Cincinnati at 2 p.m.
EKU is coming off a road loss to Ohio Wednesday in a game in which it led by as many as 12 points in the first half.
In the loss, senior Alex Jones had a team-high 13 points and 10 rebounds, recording her 27th career double-double, and third straight, which tied her for fourth all time at EKU.
Cincinnati (5-2) is coming off a 57-46 win over Youngstown State on Wednesday.
The Bearcats lead the all-time series 9-8 and have won the past four meetings, including a 2009 contest 62-49. In that game, Jones posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds as a freshman.
Cincinnati is averaging 57.4 points per game, while allowing their opponents to score 53.7 points per game. The Bearcats are shooting 34.9 percent from the floor and 36.6 from behind the three-point line.
Dayeesha Hollins is the leading scorer for Cincinnati, averaging 18.8 points per game, and one of their top rebounders averaging 7.3 per game.
Tiffany Turner is averaging nine points per game and is the Bearcats leading rebounder averaging 9.3 per game.
The Bearcats are a strong rebounding team as a whole, averaging 41 rebounds per game, while outrebounding their opponents by an average of 7.7 per game.
Though spending most of the last two games on the bench in foul trouble, Jade Barber continues to be the Lady Colonels’ leading scorer at 12.4 points per game and leading rebounder averaging 10.1 per game.
Raechele Gray, who is coming off a 14-point, seven assist, six rebound performance against Ohio, averages 9.7 points per game, while Brittany Coles is averaging 9.8 points and 5.6 rebounds and Jones has her average up to 7.6 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
Jalisa Bryant needs one point against the Bearcats to reach the 100-point mark for her career.
