H.S. HOOPS: Lady Pirates, Lady Eagles fall on senior night

MADISON COUNTY — The Berea Community Lady Pirates had their five game win streak snapped Thursday in a 58-51 senior night loss to Western Hills.

The game was a see-saw battle all night and in the end, it was poor free throw shooting — 5-17 — that doomed the Lady Pirates.

Chase Fain led the way for Berea with a game-high 17 points which included five three pointers.

Jordan Sandifur and Victoria Sexton had 13 points each while Alex Horn had five, and Hannah Haycraft finished with three points in her final home game.
