Madison County will certainly be well-represented at this year’s Kentucky High School Athletic Association State Swim Meet.
Ten local swimmers are set to compete in events at the meet, which is scheduled for this weekend at the University of Louisville. In addition, eight local relay teams qualified to compete for a state title.
Seven swimmers are scheduled to compete in two individual events.

Central’s Caroline Smith had the ninth-fastest qualifying time in the 100-yard freestyle and also qualified in the 200-yard free.
