Annie Ware scored a goal mid-way through the first half and the Madison Southern defense did the rest.
The Lady Eagles held on to beat Franklin County, 1-0, Monday night at home.
Southern (13-1) has recorded eight shutouts this season and has outscored opponents 67-8.
With 18 minutes to play in the first half, Ware raced down the left sideline, cut to goal and blasted a shot into the back of the net.
In the final minutes of the half, Franklin County had a chance to tie when a loose ball bounced around in front of an empty net, but Southern defender Kate Freel got between the ball and the goal and booted the shot away to preserve the shutout at halftime.
Franklin County had a similar play in the second half.
A free kick rolled around in front of the goal before Rachel Ramey cleared the ball.
From there, the Southern defense and goalkeeper Kristyn Murphy earned the shutout.
It was the third straight win for Southern, which plays at 6 p.m. Wednesday at South Laurel.
Berea 5, Paris 1
The Lady Pirates snapped a two-game losing streak with a 5-1 win Monday on the road over Paris.
Berea Community is now 10-3-1 on the season.
The Lady Pirates are set to return to action at 6 p.m. today at home against Wayne County.
South Laurel 10, Model 0
The Model Laboratory girls soccer team fell to 0-13 on the season with a 10-0 loss Monday night at home to South Laurel.
Model returns to action at 6 p.m. Thursday at Danville.
Model 0, Paris 0
Model Laboratory and Paris played to a scoreless draw Monday night in Paris.
It was the second time in three games the Patriots (10-2-1) were shutout, but was also the ninth shutout of the season for the Model defense.
Model returns to action at 6 p.m. Saturday at Boyle County.
Oneida Baptist Institute 1, Berea 0
The Berea Community boys soccer team suffered a tough loss Monday night on the road.
The Pirates missed a penalty kick and hit the post a couple of times as they fell to Oneida Baptist Institute, 1-0.
With the loss Berea drops to 2-11 on the season.
The Pirates return to action at 7 p.m. tonight at Pulaski County.
