Joanna Abrams bowled an unusual frame in which she picked up the 10 pin on the first ball, the seven pin on the second ball, and left the other eight pins standing. It would be very difficult to duplicate this feat.

The names and best scores of the 26 bowlers who rolled one or more of the 43 200-level games at this session are listed with the top scores at the end of this column.

Bad Bowlers No-tap

In addition to regular strikes, nine pins down with the first ball in a frame counts as a strike in no-tap leagues.

Hisle opened her second game with 10 consecutive regular strikes before leaving the four pin with her 11th ball. She then rolled a regular strike with her final ball for a no-tap 300 score. Hisle finished with a 725 series to lead the women for the night.
