Earlier this week, the Madison Central girls golf team picked up a pair of victories. On Monday, the Lady Indians defeated Clark County in Winchester. A day later, Central rolled past Mercer County at The Bull.
In the win over Clark County, Tristyn Nowlin shot a 40 and MacKenzie Neal shot a 42 as the Lady Indians posted a total score of 202 and edged out a three-shot victory at the Winchester County Club.
Mattie Jo Neeley shot a 58, while Paige Stamper and Tori Harvey each shot a 62.
On Tuesday, the Lady Indians posted a team score of 200 and topped Mercer County by 28 strokes in Richmond.
Nowlin shot a team-best 37, Mackenzie Neal shot a 43, Emily Ridings and Tori Harvey each shot a 58 and Paige Stamper finished with a 62.
Central’s next scheduled match will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday against Berea Community at the Berea Country Club.
