Scotch Doubles Tournament Sunday

The Madison County Bowling Association is sponsoring a scotch doubles tournament at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

The partners alternate bowling a ball in the scotch doubles format. For example, if the first bowler in a frame does not roll a strike, the partner will try to pick up the spare.

The handicap used will be 90 percent of the difference between the average of the partners’ averages and 220.

The teams will bowl five games with the total score including handicaps determining the winners.

The entry fee is $15 per bowler. Teams finishing in the top 20 percent will earn cash prizes.
