Richmond police are looking for a couple that they believe worked together Sunday to steal food and a computer from Walmart.
The man and woman went through a checkout with food and a Gateway NE series laptop, according to the RPD report. When the couple attempted to pay with a personal check, the clerk asked to see a driver’s license.
The man said he’d left his wallet in the car, and the couple left with the merchandise, which is worth a total of $328. They left in a maroon SUV-type vehicle, according to the RPD.
The first suspect is a white man in his late 20s to early 30s with brown hair and a short beard. He is between 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a slim build. He was wearing jeans, a maroon hooded sweatshirt with a white logo on the left breast area and a dark ball cap.
The second suspect is a white woman in her late teens to early 20s with brown hair. She was 5 feet, 3 inches tall and 120 pounds. She was wearing a hooded sweatshirt with GAP in white lettering on the front and a red-and-black striped coat with a fur-trimmed hood.
Medication stolen from Keystone Drive
A resident in the 200 block of Keystone Drive reported Saturday that her apartment had been broken into during the night and ransacked. Several bottles of prescription medicine, worth $100, was stolen. Entry was gained by breaking a rear window, according to the RPD.
Electronics taken from South Porter apartment
A resident in the 200 block of South Porter Drive reported Monday that her apartment had been broken into during the late evening and several items, worth $650, were stolen. The missing items were a Dell desktop computer, an eMachine monitor and a pink Polaroid digital camera,
Inscribed knife reported stolen from vehicle
A resident in the 500 block of Letcher Avenue reported Tuesday that a Buck fixed blade knife with a green pearl handle in a black leather sheath was stolen from his parked and unlocked vehicle during the night. The blade, worth $250, had “DY-Navajo” inscribed on it.
