RICHMOND —
Jewelry worth nearly $31,000 was stolen sometime in the past five weeks from a Powderhorn Drive home, according to a Richmond Police Department news release.
The items reported stolen from the home in the 600 block of Powderhorn Drive included a 14K yellow-gold necklace with a 1.5-carat diamond snowman pendant; a yellow-gold 1-carat diamond heart pendant; a yellow-gold sapphire and ruby pendant; a 14K yellow-gold 8-inch diamond bracelet; two 14K yellow-gold 20-inch snake necklaces; a yellow-gold 3-carat amethyst pendant; a yellow-gold 3-carat yellow topaz pendant; a pair of 14K gold hoop earrings; and a 14K yellow-gold 18-inch box chain.
Other thefts:
• The owner of a rental property in the 1200 block of Race Street reported Wednesday that an unknown brand window air-conditioning unit, worth $220, had been stolen from the home during the previous four days.
• A resident in the 200 block of Earleen Court told police Tuesday that a 16 GB green iPod Nano, worth $179, had been stolen from her unlocked vehicle during the previous day.
• The manager of
the Stone Creek Community on Keri Ann Drive reported Tuesday that a Frigidaire 6500 BTU window air-conditioning unit, worth $239, had been stolen from one of the community’s mobile homes sometime during the previous four days.
• A representative of East Main Auto Sales reported Saturday that a van parked on the property had been broken into during the night, and four Michelin white-all tires mounted on chrome rims, worth $1,500, were stolen from inside the vehicle. Entry was gained by breaking the driver’s side window, according to the RPD news release.
