RICHMOND —
A Richmond man who police said admitted to several burglaries in Madison and Garrard County was indicted Wednesday by a Madison grand jury.
Thomas L. Meeks, 32, was charged with one count of second-degree burglary, a Class C felony, and one county of second-degree persistent felony offender, which enhances the burglary charge to a Class B felony.
The grand jury claims that on Nov. 14, Meeks unlawfully entered the home of Linda Brumagen with the intent to commit a crime.
He remains in the Madison County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond.
Other indictments:
• Christy Anderson Agee, no age or address listed, theft by unlawful taking (firearm), a Class D felony.
• Olivia Hobbs, no age or address listed, theft by unlawful taking over $500, a Class D felony.
• Beth Ann Harrison, no age or address listed, theft by unlawful taking over $500.
• Lori Wilson, no age or address listed, theft by unlawful taking over $10,000, a Class C felony.
• Ernest Holloway, no age or address listed, receiving stolen property, a Class D felony, and second-degree persistent felony offender, which enhances the stolen property charge to a Class C felony.
• Lisa D. Tackett, no age or address listed, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony.
No true bills were returned for Christina Rodgers and Michael Glenn Fryman. Charges against them were dismissed without prejudice.
